Melissa ChÁVEZ, LCPC
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the founder of EUNOIA Integrative Counseling — a virtual space for therapy that’s honest, holistic, and built around who you are. As a first-generation Mexican-American woman, I understand what it means to be the strong one, the go-to, the one who’s always holding it together. I also know how heavy that can get. Therapy with me is about creating space to breathe, reflect, and figure out what healing actually looks like for you — on your terms. In addition to my work in private practice, I also manage an IPS (Individual Placement and Support) employment program, supporting folks with mental health challenges as they reclaim independence and purpose. My background in community mental health and systems work gives me a deep appreciation for just how layered our lives can be — and how much care it takes to move through them. I especially love working with: Women and femmes navigating anxiety, burnout, or hormonal changes (like PCOS) Adults with ADHD who are done feeling “too much” or “not enough” First-gen professionals carrying the weight of expectations — and wanting more ease Anyone ready to break cycles and build something softer, steadier, and real. I bring a blend of structure and softness to our work together. We’ll use tools from CBT, solution-focused therapy, and mind-body approaches — with room for humor, rest, and real talk too. I’m also a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, which means we’ll look at the full picture: stress, sleep, boundaries, food, identity, and how it all connects. And yes — hablo español. You don’t have to translate your story here.
A Few Things That Make Me, Me:
-
I love a good true crime doc (especially the ones with a twist)
-
I’m happiest when I’m curled up at home with my dogs, cat and fishes
-
I believe rest is revolutionary, laughter is healing, and documentaries are underrated
-
I’m a big fan of slow mornings, soft blankets, and deep convos that go somewhere unexpected
