FOR THE ONES READY TO RECONNECT — WITH THEMSELVES, EACH OTHER, OR WHAT MATTERS MOST

Therapy for couples, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges — across Illinois, via telehealth.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

You used to feel like yourself. Lately, you're not so sure.

The worry doesn't shut off. The same arguments keep happening with your partner. Work that used to mean something now feels heavy. Or maybe you're a parent watching your teen struggle and not knowing how to help. You've been holding a lot — quietly, capably, alone — and you're tired of feeling stuck.

Therapy with me is where we slow down enough to actually understand what's happening, and where we build the tools to move forward.

HI, I'M IRYNA!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LCPC-eligible) who works with couples, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, burnout, and the complicated middle of major life transitions.

The clients I connect most with are people who care deeply — about their relationships, their work, their families, their growth — and who want a therapist who'll meet them with warmth, honesty, and a willingness to do the real work alongside them. Many of my clients are millennials navigating the in-between of building careers, partnerships, and identities while managing anxiety, burnout, or the weight of family expectations. Many are also first-generation or immigrant adults who know what it feels like to live between two cultures, two languages, or two versions of themselves. Whether you're a couple stuck in recurring conflict, a teen feeling overwhelmed at school, an educator running on empty, or an adult whose anxiety has started showing up everywhere, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Therapy with me is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded. We move at a pace that supports actually understanding the patterns underneath the symptoms — between you and your partner, in your nervous system, in your story — while building practical tools that make change feel sustainable in real life.

"Small moments of connection and self-compassion can lead to meaningful transformation."

WHO I WORK WITH

The clients I work with often…

…are couples who love each other but feel stuck in the same arguments, silences, or distance and don't know how to break the cycle.

…are partners trying to rebuild trust after betrayal, conflict, or a relationship rupture that shook the foundation.

…are teens navigating anxiety, school stress, perfectionism, or the executive functioning challenges that come with ADHD.

…are millennials navigating the in-between of career-building, partnership, parenthood, or finding meaning in work that no longer feels right.

…are adults whose anxiety has started interfering with sleep, focus, relationships, or how they feel in their own body.

…are educators and teachers running on empty — burned out, questioning the work, and unsure what comes next.

…are first-generation adults carrying the unspoken weight of family expectations, cultural identity, and the experience of building a life across two worlds.

…are immigrants navigating the emotional layers of starting over — grief, displacement, language, identity, and rebuilding a sense of belonging.

…are Ukrainian-speaking clients adjusting to life in a new country, processing displacement, or wanting therapy in their native language.

HOW I WORK

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and client-centered. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up fully as yourself, especially if you've spent much of your life being the one who holds things together for everyone else. I integrate evidence-based approaches:

Attachment-Based Therapy
For understanding how early relationships shape how we connect, react, and protect ourselves now — in couples and individual work.

Mindfulness-Based Approaches
For building awareness of your emotions, slowing down reactivity, and creating space between what you feel and what you do.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
For understanding the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, especially around anxiety, worry, and overwhelm.

Strengths-Based Therapy
For working with what you already bring — your resilience, insight, and capacity — instead of just focusing on what's wrong.

Sessions are tailored to each client's needs. For couples, that often means slowing down conflicts, understanding the patterns underneath them, and rebuilding emotional safety and trust. For individuals, it often means making sense of anxiety, building tools for emotional regulation, and reconnecting with what feels true to you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Clients often describe sessions with me as supportive, grounding, and thoughtful. My goal is to help you feel understood while building practical tools and insight to navigate emotions, relationships, and life challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

We move at a pace that feels supportive and intentional. There's space to explore what's hard alongside developing skills that help you feel more grounded, connected, and capable in everyday life.

While my style is warm and collaborative, I also believe meaningful change often requires gentle challenge. When the moment calls for it, I'll thoughtfully push back, name what I'm noticing, or invite you to look at something from a different angle, because real growth happens when we feel safe enough to be honest with ourselves.

If you're a couple, our work will focus on understanding the patterns between you and creating a different way of being together, one that feels safer, closer, and more honest.

If you're unsure whether we'd be a good fit, we can talk it through together on a free 15-minute consultation. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Minimalist Interior Design

In addition to my clinical work, I bring a background in education and community-based work. This experience has shaped my understanding of how systems, relationships, and cultural context influence mental health — and gives me particular insight into the experience of educators navigating professional stress, burnout, and career transitions.

As a first-generation immigrant, I bring a thoughtful understanding of the complexities that come with balancing multiple cultures, expectations, and life roles. I'm especially passionate about supporting other immigrant and first-generation clients — people who know the particular weight of building a life across two cultures, navigating family expectations that don't always make space for individual growth, and finding belonging when "home" lives in more than one place. I'm also honored to offer therapy in Ukrainian for clients adjusting to life in a new country, processing displacement, or simply feeling most at home in their native language during therapy.

My training in attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches informs how I show up in the therapy room — with curiosity, warmth, and a commitment to meeting each client where they are.

THINGS THAT MAKE ME, ME

A reader at heart.
I could spend hours lost in a good book — reading is my favorite way to unwind and explore new perspectives.

Dog mom. I love spending time with my puppy, whether we're out for a walk or relaxing at home.

Grounded by the people I love.
Time with friends and family is what keeps me balanced, present, and steady.
